Kathleen Jarmiolowski has extensive experience handling issues affecting intellectual property and business start up issues. She advocated on behalf of small to large-sized computer companies on issues affecting workforce training credits, intellectual property, and H1-B visas before the U.S. Congress. She worked for the U.S. Department of Commerce on issues relating to electronic signatures, telecommunications deregulation, and copyright protection. She also worked for the U.S. House of Representatives, Committee on Resources where she handled committee hearings relating to land use. She is a member of the American Bar Association and section member in Administrative Law, Antitrust, Business, Communications, Government, Intellectual Property, Public Utilities, Science & Technology, Real Property, and the Young Lawyers Division. She is also a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association as well as a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Baltimore City Bar Association, and Montgomery County Bar Association. Currently, her practice is focused on business start-up ventures, real estate development and intellectual property protection. |
